Publication of the fourth Central Eastern European Tax brochure (2016)

Mazars in Hungary published its fourth regional tax survey, which presents snapshots and comparative charts of the tax systems of 19 CEE countries including Austria. The goal of the brochure is not only to inform about the different regional taxation system, but also to facilitate the thinking about taxation of foreign investors in these regions, which may be a first step in a subsequent decision.

The survey presenting 19 countries covers the income of individuals, the taxation of company profits, as well as the indirect taxation. The brochure also provides the opportunity for comparison about tax rates, as well as of the rates of labour-related costs as compared to the net salary. Outside Hungary’s neighboring countries and the Visegrad countries, all ex-Yugoslav states are presented in the material, after Greece and Russia.
